Pune waiter stabs colleague to death, kills self

A 33-year-old waiter allegedly knifed his colleague to death at their hotel in Mangalwar Peth area before committing suicide by hanging today, police said.
The incident occurred in wee hours at Kubera Garden Hotel when Bidan alias Punam Nemai Ghosh stabbed Bharata Khadka to death and injured two other waiters while they were sleeping in their common room on the premises of the hotel, Faraskhana police said.
Ghosh then hanged himself to the ceiling of the room while other waiters fled, they said.
Police are trying to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
