Punjab govt directs all departments to create e-mail account

According to a communique sent by general administration department to financial commissioners, principal secretaries and administrative secretaries today, all departments have been asked to create their email IDs, besides mentioning it in all official correspondences.

"This information was being provided to the Punjab and Haryana High Court and if any department, board and corporation have not yet created its email ID, it should get the process completed at the earliest," according to a spokesperson.
