Punjab, Haryana complete semifinal line-up of boys jr hockey
Press Trust of India New Delhi Punjab and Haryana today registered wins in their respective pool matches to join Jharkhand and Odisha in the semifinals of 4th Hockey Sub- Junior Boy's National Championship (Division A) in Ranchi.
While Punjab outclassed Maharashtra 8-0 in a Pool C match, Haryana defeated Mizoram 3-1 in a Pool D encounter.
Meanwhile in incosequential matches of the day, Uttar Pradesh eked out a close 6-5 win over Manipur in Pool C while Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Chandigarh Olympic Association 7-2 in Pool D.

Pool C: Uttar Pradesh 6 Suvran Khandkar (5th, 46th, 55th and 62nd minutes); Abhilash Gupta (43rd) and Arif Mohd (53rd) vs Manipur 5 Ibung Singh (20th), Dhananjoy Singh (50th and 59th), Thoungamba Metei (66th) and Dipu Singh (67th).
Pool C: Hockey Punjab 8 Inderjit Singh (10th); Kawaljit Singh (11th, 46th and 57th); Harmeet Singh (44th); Mehkeet Singh (47th and 65th); Amanpreet Singh (50th) vs Hockey Maharashtra 0.
Pool D: Haryana 3 Mandeep Mor (13th and 30th), Abhishek (40th) vs Mizoram 1 Lallawmawma (49th).
Pool D: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 7 Ravi Panche (12th, 35th, 52nd, 59th); Alishan Khan (24th, 42nd); Harshdeep Kapoor (65th) vs Chandigarh Olympic Association 2 Maninderjeet Singh (52nd, 55th).
