Punjab to launch campaign to educate consumers

The campaign will be launched on December 24 and will culminate on December 30, an official spokesman said here today.

"Various programmes to sensitise consumers about their rights will be organised during the period," he said.

The main objective of the campaign is to foster the trust between consumer and traders, the spokesman said.

Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners will also redress grievances of the consumers during the week-long campaign.
