Punjab to set up forest research institute

A decision to this effect was taken by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal during a recent meeting with Dehradun- based Forest Research Institute Director P P Bhoj Vaid here, an official release said today.

Badal asked the FRI director to prepare a comprehensive plan of the proposed institution in the state, it said.
