The agriculture and vigilance officials today conducted joint raids on five godowns in Warangal city for stocking seeds without proper permit.
"Raids were conducted today at five godowns in Warangal city for stocking seeds without permit," Krishna Reddy, assistant director, agriculture, said.
The official said that the godown owners did not have any records of the stocked seeds.
Agriculture officials have advised farmers to maintain bills of every seed purchased during this Kharif season.
