During her election rallies in Dhabi mining area of Kota- Bundi and in Dug town of Jhalawar-Baran parliamentary constituencies of Hadouti region today, she focussed on local development schemes and assured people the current public welfare schemes in the state would not be stopped by her government.
Addressing a gathering of over 5000 people in Dhabi mining area, Raje hinted at setting up an industrial hub of sandstone in the area and informed her government has sanctioned Rs 147 crore as compensation to the farmers of 817 villages, whose crops were damaged in recent hailstorm and rains in the state.
Raje blamed Congress government for neglecting tribes and mine labourers of the area and promised her government would provide them better basic facilities of drinking water and electricity.
She appealed the gathering to vote for Om Birla, the party candidate to get Narendra Modi elected prime minister.
Birla, a two-time MLA is contesting against Congress candidate Ijayraj Singh of Kota royal family.
She also said the work on village tourism in Jhalawar would soon be started.
Among other announcements, she said, the eligible persons left out of the BPL lists and pension schemes would be included afresh during the review of the welfare schemes.
