The new direct train from Charbagh railway station here to Kathgodam was announced in the 2014 Rail Budget.
Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha, who is a Lok Sabha member from Ghazipur, will be present on the occasion.
The train will leave Lucknow Junction at 0805 Hrs and reach Kathgodam at 1455 Hrs the same day. On its return journey, it will start from there at 1605 Hrs and reach Lucknow at 2355 Hrs.
Singh will also inaugurate a school in Mohanlalganj area on the outskirts of the city before returning to Delhi.
