Lalu Prasad's former confidante Ramkripal Yadav, who has joined the BJP, today hit out at RJD president Lalu Prasad saying the "conspiracy" hatched by him would not help his daughter win the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat.

"People of Patliputra will foil all conspiracy hatched for the victory of party nominee (Misa Bharti)," Ramkripal Yadav said, addressing a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan after filing nomination as a BJP candidate from the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat.

He, however, did not speak in detail about the "conspiracy" but hinted at the induction of history-sheeter Ritlal Yadav as RJD general secretary to prevent him from contesting the polls as an Independent candidate in order to boost Misa's chances from the seat in Patna district.

Ramkripal Yadav, a former confidante of Prasad for over three decades who had rebelled after denial of ticket from Patliputra and was made candidate by BJP, desisted from speaking much in public about his former boss and Misa Bharti whom he has described as like his "daughter."

Yadav, three-term MP from Patna before the delimitation of the Constituency in 2009 poll said he has worked day and night for the people of Patliputra and was sure to get his "majdoori" (wage) from people.

He praised BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and said a wave was blowing in his favour across the country.

LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan, senior BJP vice-president C P Thakur and state BJP president Mangal Pandey were present at the meeting.

Patliputra seat which will go to polls on April 17 is all set to witness intense war between Misa Bharti and her two "uncles" Ramkripal Yadav of BJP and Ranjan Prasad Yadav of JD(U).
