Rape case filed against 4 youths

A 17-year-old Dalit girl has alleged that she was abducted and raped by four youths in the district's Khatawali village, police said today.
The victim has alleged that she was kidnapped by two youths on July 17 while she was asleep on the roof of a house.
She was then taken to an isolated place where the duo was joined by two other youths.
The girl was allegedly raped by one of the four youths while the rest of the accused molested her.
After returning home, the girl told her mother about the incident and, following their complaint, a case of abduction, rape and molestation was lodged under the SC/ST Act.

The victim appeared for a medical test at the civil hospital here last night, police said.
Police said that the accused youths have been identified as Hari Om, Kuldeep, Rajbir and Jai Vir, all of whom were presently absconding.
