Red sander wood logs seized

Red sander wood logs worth about two crore were seized from a lorry at Pattinamkathan check post near here and arrested its driver, police said.
The lorry was enroute to Rameswaram from Andhra Pradesh when the police checked it on suspicion.
As the lorry was parked for a long time, police got suspicious and checked it. They found the red sander wood logs hidden behind onion bags.
The wood was meant for Sri Lankan, they said.
