Restriction on buses in Guwahati on account of Durga Puja

The restriction has been imposed in anticipation of the traffic hazard in the roads of the city and impending danger to the lives of the general pedestrians and devotees thronging in the puja pendals on the occasion of Durga Puja, an official statement said.

Under this, long-distance buses operating under Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) in major roads inside the city will have to skip them during the mentioned period.
