RFP officials find abandoned baby in train

RPF officials on patrolling duty on board Jamalpur-Malda Intercity Express stumbled upon a newborn on Thursday night GRP sources said today.
The train was crossing through Jharkhand when the infant boy was found and none came forward to claim the baby.
The RPF informed the GRP and when the train reached Malda Town station at 10pm.
"The baby was taken to Malda Medical College and Hospital and admitted there," KC Dutta, inspector-in-charge of Malda GRP said.
The Child Welfare Committee has been informed he added.
