Riteish Deshmukh's 'Lai Bhaari' co-star Aaditi Pohankar feels the actor-producer would turn out to be a doting father.
Riteish and his actress wife Genelia Deshmukh were blessed with a baby boy earlier this week.
"Riteish will be a fantastic father, because he is one of those gentlemen who are dignified and respectful. He is a true gentleman and fun-loving," Aaditi told PTI on the sidelines of the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
Maharashtra-born Aaditi, who made her debut in showbiz with Marathi action drama 'Lai Bhaari', said Riteish was not only a good co-star, but a good teacher too on the film sets.
"It was fantastic working with Riteish. It was my first film and I came from a theatre background. For me, cinema was a new medium, but Riteish helped me a lot. For theatre you need rehearsals and for films you need camera sense," the 22-year-old actress said.
"I got the basic tips from Riteish and my producers. They selected me for the role in just two auditions," she said.
Besides Riteish and Aaditi in lead, the film also has guest appearances of superstar Salman Khan and Genelia.
Genelia, who turned producer with the film, would also visit the sets during the shooting of 'Lai Bhaari' in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
"Genelia used to come a lot on sets during the time of shooting. We had a lot of fun. We did a lot of mimicry together. We didn't want the film to get over. It was a very family kind of an atmosphere on the set," said the actress.
A state-level athlete, Aaditi had no plans to become an actor.
"I was a state-level athlete in Maharashtra. During my college days, I used to participate in plays. My family has a musical background, with my brother and uncle being into music. I never decided to enter into all this. But acting happened by chance. There is a lot of similarity between both the professions because both need energy and concentration," she said.
Post the release of 'Lai Bhaari', the actress is getting offers from Bollywood.
"'Lai Bhaari' was amazing. I got a lot of potential to move around. I am getting Bollywood films also," she added.
