Salesman of liquor vend shot dead

A 28-year-old salesman at Gugodh village here was shot dead by an unknown assailant, while he was sleeping inside a liquor vend, police said today.
The victim, identified as Raj Kumar, was a resident of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place late last night.
After having received the information in this regard, the Kosli police, along with a team of forensic science experts, visited the place this morning.
Subsequently the police registered a case of murder in this regard on the basis of a statement made by Abhay Pratap, a relative of victim.
Further investigations were under progress, police said.
