Select destinations freight rates up

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Baroda, Patna and Pune rose by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital on fresh arrivals of cargo amid less availability of trucks.
Marketmen said besides tight trucks position, insufficient trucks position largely caused the rise in freight rates.
Capital to Pune, Patna and Baroda freight rates moved up by Rs 1000 each to Rs 34,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 27,000.
Elsewhere, rest other centers freight rates hovered around overnight levels on some alternate enquiries.
