Seven get life term for murder

Bhure was killed and his father and brother Harbhajan and Chatrapal were seriously injured over a dispute over a piece of land in January 12, 1997.

Additional District Judge S N Tripathi yesterday sentenced Ajay Pal, Vir Pal, Udal, Mau Singh, Ved Pal, Yash Pal and Yogendra Pal to life imprisonment, prosecution sources said.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 52,000 on each of them, the sources added.
