Shamli gangrape: Victim was blackmailed by 2 of the accused

The 21-year-old victim of the Shamli gangrape incident has disclosed that she is three- months pregnant after repeatedly being raped over a period of time by two of her friends, who are among the six accused in the case.
In a second statement recorded before police, the victim said that Irshad and Anis, two of the accused were known to her before.
She alleged that they had earlier raped her and made a video of the act. They had then used the video to blackmail and coerce her and repeatedly rape her for three months, as a result of which she became pregnant, police said.

The gangrape was carried out on June 15 here by Irshad, Anis and four other friends of theirs who had intercepted the girl outside her house.
