Sisodia stresses needed for dedicated revenue staff cadre

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today stressed the need for a dedicated cadre of revenue staff and a new revenue manual within a year's time.
For better governance, Sisodia said that a specialised and dedicated cadre of revenue staff was needed. "The government will target to bring out a new revenue manual within a year's time," he added.
He was speaking during the inauguration of the new office of the District Magistrate (North). As desired by the Deputy CM, Komal, a 12th standard student of SKV Bakhtawarpur, did the honours of the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The minister read out the names of labourers who took part in the construction of the building.
Underscoring the need for timely resolution of issues, Sisodia handed over two complaints to the District Magistrate which were received from citizens.
Applauding the speedy construction of the DM office by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), he also asked the DTTDC to construct the school buildings in record time.
The function was attended among others by Chief Secretary KK Sharma, Divisional Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Revenue) A Anbarasu and AAP MLAs Ajesh Yadav, Sharad Chauhan, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Jha and Akhilesh Pati Tripathi.
