Three persons were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger bus en route to Kathmandu from Arghakhanchi district met with an accident at Dharke in Dhading district along the Prithvi Highway in central Nepal.
The deceased have been identified as Puran Budhathoki, Radha Paudel and Dev Bahadur Pun of Arghakhanchi, police said.
The bus slipped off the hilly road and fell some 12 metres down into a field, they said.
In another accident, three people were killed and 11 others injured when a tractor overturned along the East-West highway at Karjanha in Siraha district in southern Nepal, according to the police.
The tractor was carrying some three dozen pilgrims towards local Padaulasthan temple.
The tractor driver has fled from the site following the accidednt.
