Steel prices quiet in thin trade

Wholesale prices of steel closed flat here today on lack of worthwhile activity.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from construction units mainly kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 46,300, 10-mm Rs 45,800, 12-mm Rs 43,400, 16-25 mm Rs 44,100.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm, Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
