Suspected PLFI ultras kill police personnel

Suspected ultras of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) gunned down a police chowkidar at Dadigutu village in Khunti district.
Four gunmen, suspected to be of the PLFI, shot dead the police chowkidar, Karan Singh, in front of his wife last night, Deputy Inspector General of Police Praveen Kumar said today.
A police team led by Sub-divisional police officer Deepak Sharma chased the ultras and exchanged gun shots, he said.
Blood stains were spotted during the search operation indicating that the retreating ultras suffered gunshot wounds, the DIG added.
