PCC president A V Subramanian told reporters here that this plan would seriously impact farm operations in Tamil Nadu. Swamy's stand was that the state go in for desalination of sea water and not seek Cauvery water. He had also objected to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry ryots' opposition on this issue.
"Instead of seeing the facts the BJP leader is coming out with the argument that desalination of sea water should be done by Tamil Nadu to avoid dependence on Cauvery water. This is a clear case of Swamy taking anti Tamil and anti Tamilnadu stand," he alleged.
He also referred to Swamy's threat of taking legal action if India went ahead with the Rafale deal with France and demanded to know what the BJP leader wants India to do and from where the government should procure the aircraft.
