Tata Motors sales up 8% at 44,276 units in June

Tata Motors today reported 8 per cent growth in sales at 44,276 units in June.
The company had sold 40,869 in the same month last year.
Domestic sales of Tata Motors' commercial and passenger vehicles rose 8 per cent to 38,673 units in June over the same month of previous year.
Sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market stood at 12,509 units last month as against 10,281 in the year-ago period, Tata Motors said in a statement.
As for passenger cars, the sales rose 37 per cent to 11,705 units in June compared with 8,516 units in the year-ago period.

In the commercial vehicles segment, the company's domestic sales stood at 16,017 units, up 8 per cent over June 2015, the company said.
Exports during the month rose 11 per cent to 5,603 units compared with 5,046 vehicles sold in June 2015.
