Ten cops punished for assaulting three men

SP Ranjit Kumar Mishra shunted seven constables and a Hawaldar of Bisfi police station to line duty and recommended to superior officials for suspension of two Bihar Military Policemen after finding them guilty of assaulting three people while they were passing through a marshy land recently.

After coming to know about the incident, the SP visited the spot and probed the matter before taking the action, police said.
