Superintendent of police Datta Karale said the accused were booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Additional superintendent of police, ACB, Srinivas Ghatge said the three accused -- medical officer Dr Sanjivkumar Gaikwad (33), pharmacist Yogesh Shinde and Mohan Rathod -- had demanded a bribe of Rs 1.2 lakh from the complainant, Dr Umakant Gharte to allow him to recommend allopathic medicines at his clinic, which he was not authorised to do.
Upon Gharte's complaint, the ACB laid a trap and nabbed Rathod while accepting Rs 30,000, a part of the agreed amount, at a tea centre at Kashi on the Mira road this afternoon.
Deputy superintendent of police Ajay Aphale is conducting further probe.
