Thieves flee with cash, valuables from ex-CBI official's house

Unidentified burglars struck at the residence of a former CBI joint director and decamped with cash and valuables worth a few lakhs, police said today.
Shantanu Sen lives in a house in G block of sector Beta in Greater Noida.
The retired CBI official had gone to Varanasi three days back and when he returned last evening he found the door's lock broken and the house ransacked, a police official said.
LCD television, jewellery, cash and other valuables were found missing, he added.
Sen has lodged a theft case at Kasna Police Station.
