Mohan Lal, SDO Khairwara in Udaipur district, had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from one Laxmi Lal Meena for some official work and asked him to hand over the amount to his subordinate Arjun Lal.
A team of anti-corruption bureau, following verification of the complaint by Meena, caught Arjun while taking the bribe amount in his office.
Arjun told ACB officials that he was accepting the bribe on behalf of his officer Mohan Lal after which Lal was also arrested.
In Tonk district, a Patwari posted in Bithola area was arrested for taking bribe of Rs 6,000 whih he had demanded from a local man Ramavtar.
He was arrested at his house, ACB sources said here.
