"On a tip off, we arrested Shanta Sutar and seized 700 gram alprozolam powder from her near Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital yesterday," Indore CBN Superintendent, Dipak Dubey said today.
He said that after interrogating Sutar, the CBN arrested Balram (48) and Dilip Patidar (22) from Mandsaur district, who had delivered the consignment to Shanta.
Alprozolam is sold on the prescription of doctors from licensed chemist (medicine) shops, who have to duly maintain such transactions detail.
A fortnight ago, two persons were arrested with 19,425 alprozolam tablets here.
