Three of family die in a road accident in Visakhapatnam

Three members of a family were killed in a road accident and one of them suffered severe injuries when their two-wheeler was hit by a speeding private bus on the national highway stretch (NH-16) near Elamanchili in the district this evening, said police.
The deceased were identified as D Raju (35), his wife D Kumari (30), and his younger daughter D Pushpa (7). Raju's elder daughter D Sravani, who suffered severe injuries, is battling for life in hospital, police said.
Raju was going on two-wheeler along with his family to Kokirapalle from his hometown Elamanchili when the speeding bus hit their vehicle from behind, police said.

Three of them died on the spot and Sravani was admitted to hospital with severe injuries, they said.
