Tomar cancels Rourkela visit for fog

Heavy fog stalled the proposed visit of the Union Steel Minister Narendra Singh Tomar to Rourkela Steel Plant here today.
"The minister's flight was supposed to take off at 8.30 AM from Delhi airstrip. It was due to continuing fog at the national capital the flight was not allowed to take off" said Ramendra Kumar, Chief of Communication of RSP.
Finally when the weather changed it was already 12.30 noon. Therefore the minister had to change his visit plan, Kumar said.
The minister was supposed to undertake a short visit for some hours today. As there was no night landing facility here, the the minister canceller his visit.
