Toyota launches Innova Crysta priced up to Rs 20.78 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the launch of an all new version of its popular multi-purpose vehicle Innova priced up to Rs 20.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The bookings of the new vehicle, named Innova Crysta opened today and deliveries will begin from May 13, 2016, TKM said in a statement.
The Innova Crysta comes in two engine options of 2.4 L diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission and an all-new 2.8 litre diesel engine with 6-speed automatic transmission. It is priced in the range of Rs 13.84 lakh and Rs 20.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
TKM Managing Director Akito Tachibana said that ever since its launch in India the company has sold over 6 lakh Innovas in the country.

"At Toyota, we are constantly striving to make our products even better catering to the changing needs of our customers. We are positive, with the Innova Crysta we are all set to create a new benchmark in luxury, comfort and toughness," he added.
TKM claimed that the Innova Crysta gives a fuel economy of 14.29 Km/l for the 2.8L 6-speed automatic transmission variant and 15.10 Km/l for the 2.4L 5 speed manual transmission variant as per ARAI certification.
