Chennai-Asansol Weekly Express today hit an autorickshaw at an unmanned level crossing between Sini-Kandra station under South Eastern Railway.
"We are investigating whether any casualty had caused even though there was no such report as of now," Senior Division Commercial Manager (Chakradharpur Division), Kasinath Biswas told PTI.
The incident took place at a spot between Sini-Kandra station, about 50 km from here.
No disruption of rail services was caused following the incident, he claimed adding that details were being awaited.
The train was flagged off few days back only.
