Tribunal imposes a token cost on Education Secy, Dir Education

The Bench of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal here has imposed atoken cost of Rs 500 on Education Secretary, Director Education (secondary), Finance Secretary andPrincipal Senior Secondary School, Kufery Mandi for not filing reply in time.
The Benchof Administrative Tribunalheaded by its Chairman Justice V K Sharma and member Administrative Prem Kumar yesterday directedthe respondents to pay the cost and get it recovered from erring official and further directed that intimation in this regard be given tothe Tribunal.
Meera Devi, a Lecturer in Sanskrithad filed a complaint alleging that she was not given revised pay as per order issued bySecretary Finance.

The matter was listed yesterday for filing of reply but reply was not filed, on this the Tribunalextended thetime for filing of reply on the request of Additional Advocate General but imposed a token cost of Rs 500 with the directions that the cost would be paid by erring official.
