Acting on a tip off, the police arrested Amit and Sunder, who along with three others had shot at Subhash and Ompal, said SHO Ummed Yadav.
During interrogation, the duo confessed to their crime, Yadav said
Both Subhash and Ompal are recuperating at G T B Hospital after sustaining bullet injuries in their back, neck and face, he said.
The police have also seized one country-made pistol of 315 bore with a live cartridge, Yadav said.
Three other attackers Jai Prakash, Anuj and Krishan are still absconding, said Yadav, adding that they will be nabbed soon.
