Two killed, nine injured in road accident

According to police, the overcrowded auto-rickshaw was going from Gudlavalleru to Gudivada this morning. When it reached Angaluru village, the autorickshaw driver lost control of the vehicle which rammed into the bus coming from the opposite direction.

Two persons, identified as E Peedakonda (32) and G Subramanyam (33) from Neelakhantapuram village of Gudlavalleru Mandal, died on the spot. They worked as daily wage labourers, police said.
