Dharmendra Gurjar (8) and his elder brother Kalyan (10) along with a group of friends went to Bharkha pond at Salon village, 55km from here, for an outing, police said.
Dharmendra entered the water body and started drowning. His elder brother jumped into the pond to rescue him but both met a watery grave, Inspector P P Mudral of Badarvas Police Station said.
Their bodies were retrieved and handed over to their family members, he said.
