Two murdered in separate incidents

Two persons were murdered in as many incidents in the district, police said today.
In the first incident, a 50-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband under drunken stupor in tribal-dominated Machipada last night, they said.
Police today arrested the husband of the deceased, Bharat Gosavi (55) and booked him under section 302 (murder) of IPC.
In another incident, a 42-year-old man was allegedly murdered over a land dispute by a farmer and his wife yesterday, police said, adding the victim is identified as Rajee Mauji Bambere.
Police have registered an FIR in this regard and arrested the accused Ganesh Bacchu Valvi (34).
