Two newly-wed girls, both cousins, died of suspected food poisoning in Atrauli area here today, police said.
Omvati, aged 21, and Rekha (20), who married two brothers on June 20, died at the residence of their in-laws in Shivaji Nagar locality, they said.
Prima facie it appeared to be a case of food poisoning as some relatives of the bridegrooms, including their sister, were also hospitalised with similar symptoms.
Police said they were waiting for reports of the post mortem, adding no FIR had been lodged so far.
