The mishap took place as the speeding jeep ran into the temple last night, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rajkishore Singh said.
Two occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, were killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries, he said.
The jeep was carrying the occupants from Banka district to Patna, SDPO said.
