The chaos erupted during the question hour following the entry of an attendant into the well of the house on which Chairman Ganesh Shanker Pandey ordered him to get him out of the Assembly.
Leader of the Opposition Naseemuddin Siddiqui alleged that the attendant came to give a slip to a minister, following which there was a heated argument between BSP and ruling SP members.
The BSP members raised their voice against the incident and jumped into the well after which the chairman adjourned the house for 10 minutes.
Revenue Minister Ambika Chaudhary said that though the system of slips was not new but the movement of the attendant was wrong.
The BSP and SP members once again had a heated exchange of words after which the chairman adjourned the house for the day.
