UP Cabinet minister's daughter feared drowned in Ganga

The daughter of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet minister Shahid Manzoor was today feared drowned in the Ganga river in Rishikesh while she went for rafting with her friends.
24-year-old Abida Hasan, a medical student, was washed away in the strong current after she slipped and fell into the river, police said.
The incident took place near Phoolchatti ashram and a team of rescuers was trying to trace the girl. The minister has also rushed to the spot.
