UP reels under cold wave; Agra records 1.4 deg C

Plains of Uttar Pradesh reeled under biting cold wave and fog disrupted normal life in some parts of the state.
Agra recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 1.4 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological department said.
Fog disrupted normal life at some places in the state.
Temperature fell appreciably in Lucknow, Jhansi and Agra divisions.
The temperature was markedly below normal in Agra division while it was above normal in Faizabad division.
The MeT office said the weather would remain mainly dry over the state.
Rain/thundershowers would occur at isolated places over the state tomorrow, it said.
