Jitin was speaking after inaugurating an exhibition of manuscripts and books on renowned poet Amur Khusro at the Raza library here.
The literary works are authored by eminent literary figures of India.
Stating that Khusro's works were blended with the message of national integration, the minister announced to donate 1,300 books for promoting research on Urdu poets.
Raza library director Azizuddin said the exhibition on Khusro's contribution was organised in collaboration with the Agha Khan Trust for Culture and the Ford foundation to generate an understanding about the mission of Khusro.
