The community centre, built at a cost of over Rs 594 lakh, has been developed in an area of 1,795 sqm, North Delhi Mayor Yogender Chandolia said.
The Centre has been named after former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma.
"The construction took 18 months. Each floor has one hall, two rooms and toilet blocks," he said.
North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) Standing Committee Chairman Mohan Bhardwaj said the lift facility has been provided in the hall for the benefit of differently-abled and senior citizens.
Pravesh Verma, West Delhi MP, and son of Saheb Singh, said, "it is the responsibility of elected representative to provide top-class facilities to citizens and this community centre is just one step in that direction".
