Videocon has permit for mobile services in 7 service areas but at present operates only in 4 circles - Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Early this month, the company received pan-India permit for internet services.

The rise in revenue is driven by GSM business, national long distance, international long distance and Punjab's wire-line business, the statement said.
