Voting begins on a slow note in Dharamshala polls

Voting began on a slow note this morning in 17 wards of the newly created municipal corporation of Dharamshala.
There are 31,538 registered voters and 113 candidates are in the fray in 17 wards. Congress, BJP and other parties have fielded their candidates.
Polling started on a slow note at 7 AM but later picked up pace. The voting will end at 3 PM, after which the counting will start, Kangra Deputy Commissioner Ritesh Chauhan said.
He said most of the results shall be declared within 2 hours as EVM machines are being used.
