Vrindavan Chandroday Mandir will have a Bhagvada Gita Expo with Krishna Heritage Museum showcasing the rich heritage and artistic celebration of Lord Krishna in diverse cultures, Swami Yudhister Krishna Dass of International Society for Krishana Consciousness (ISKCON), Bangalore, said at a press conference here.
He said the "best landscape designers of the world" will recreate the twelve forests of Brij with varieties of lush-green vegetation, fruit-bearing trees, flower-laden creepers, clear water lakes and waterfalls, all recreated from descriptions in the Bhagvada Gita and other books on Lord Krishna to transport the visitors to his times in Vrindavan."
Also, there will be a capsule elevator that will rise from the temple core and take visitors thorough different planetary systems in the universe as described in the Veda in a sound and light show.
He said the piling work for the temple will begin on August 18.
Apart from the temple, there will be a 'Krishna Lila Theme Park'.
The temple will be located on Vrindavan-Chhatikra Road. It is being built by devotees of Lord Krishna and followers of the late Swami Pradhupada, founder of ISKCON.
The project was first conceived by devotees of ISKCON Bangalore.
