"We have received some complaints from different political parties, which had been forwarded to the District Municipal Election Officer (DMEO) for review. After I receive report from the DMEO by tomorrow, a decision will be taken if repoll could be given to any polling booth," state Election Commissioner S R Upadhyay said.
Speaking about his overall observation on yesterday's civic poll to the 144-Ward KMC, Upadhyay said, "There was no major incident of violence. However, I received several complaints from different political parties which are under scrutiny."
"However, I agree some incidents had taken place and in those cases particularly there was a lack of appropriate atmosphere," Upadhyay said.
