According to police, the incident took place on August 19 when the four accused barged into the victim's house in an inebriated condition and tried to molest her.
Hearing the woman's screams, her husband rushed to her help, following which he was also assaulted by the accused, police said.
A case has been registered in this connection under relevant sections of the IPC and the matter is being investigated, Investigating Officer HC Mukesh Kumari said.
